Welcome Team

The Welcome Team is the first friendly face families see when they arrive at the Family Fun Night. Volunteers greet families with enthusiasm, help guests find the check-in area, answer general questions, and help create an exciting and inviting atmosphere. Some volunteers may be asked if they are willing to wear a costume to help enhance the event experience. This role is perfect for volunteers who enjoy meeting new people and helping families feel comfortable and valued.

Check-In Team

The Check-In Team helps create a smooth and welcoming arrival experience for every family. Responsibilities include greeting families, distributing paper wristbands to children and family members for entry, assisting walk-in guests with registration by directing them to scan the registration QR code, answering basic questions, and helping maintain an organized check-in area. Volunteers should be friendly, attentive, and comfortable interacting with both children and adults.

Usher Team

The Usher Team helps guide children and families throughout the event. Responsibilities include directing traffic flow between the service and outdoor activities, assisting families in finding seats during opening session, directing families to the outdoor experience, and providing assistance as needed throughout the evening. Ushers play an important role in creating a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience for everyone attending the Family Fun Night.

Water Slide Team

The Water Slide Team helps provide a fun and safe experience for children using the inflatable water slides. Volunteers monitor the entrance and exit areas, ensure children follow safety rules, help maintain orderly lines, and communicate any concerns to event leadership. Volunteers should be attentive, encouraging, and focused on creating a safe environment while kids enjoy the activity.

Bounce House Team

The Bounce House Team oversees the inflatable play areas to ensure children are using them safely. Responsibilities include monitoring capacity limits, helping children enter and exit safely, keeping lines organized, and enforcing safety guidelines. Volunteers should remain alert and actively supervise the activity area throughout the event.

Foam Party Team

The Foam Party Team helps create an exciting and safe experience in the foam party area. Volunteers assist with crowd management, monitor participant safety, help children who may need assistance, and communicate any issues to event leadership. This team helps ensure that all participants can enjoy the activity in a fun, welcoming, and safe environment.

Outdoor Experience Floaters

Outdoor Experience Floaters provide support wherever needed throughout the outdoor activity areas. Responsibilities may include assisting with lines, helping direct families between activities, ensuring volunteers have water & supplies, providing breaks for other volunteers, and responding to needs as they arise. Floaters should be flexible, proactive, and ready to jump in wherever assistance is needed.
