GEO LIBERTIN // WORSHIP RESIDENT

Hi! My name is Geo. I’m homegrown in Salisbury. I graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. I had plans to go to Grad school right after college, but God had different plans for my life. I thought I had it all figured out, but sometimes when you think you have it all figured out, you don’t. The call of God was apparent, but I needed it to be unambiguous. By God’s grace, the council of family members and other staff members around me, helped me to recognize the best course of action for me going into ministry.

I grew up in a Christian household. I grew up in church. I went to a private Christian High School (Salisbury Christian) from 3rd-12th grade, but I didn’t know the full extent of a life with Christ. I only knew faith through the relationship my parents had with the Lord. I wasn’t really grounded in my faith. In my Freshman year of college I was going from church to church. It wasn’t until I arrived here, at Emmanuel Church, where I really started to grow in my relationship with God. I got connected, I had opportunities to serve in whatever capacity. I was an unconfident kid when I arrived, but the more I served, the more I knew the character of God. Everyday I am learning more about his character.
